Key Characteristics of the Editorial Editing Style

True-to-colour tones 

The editorial look isn't about heavy colour grading. It honours the colours that were actually there - the warmth of golden hour, the cool of a shaded church, the depth of a dark reception room. The editing refines rather than overrides.

Natural skin tones 

Skin accuracy is non-negotiable. The best editorial edits keep skin looking natural and healthy, without pushing towards orange, yellow or washed out. This is harder to get right than most presets deliver.

Soft, controlled contrast 

Shadows retain depth without going flat. Highlights smooth out without blowing. The result is a luxurious, dimensional feel - the difference between a photograph and an image.

Gallery consistency 

Each image should feel like it belongs to the same edit. A strong preset system makes this easy, whether you're moving from bright outdoor portraits to a candlelit reception.

*The individual Grain Presets are not currently compatible with Lightroom Mobile, however you can still manually adjust the grain in the app if desired.
